Hey, I'm trying to get my door handles rechromed, but I need to take them apart first. Does anyone know how to remove this pin? I take it that you tap it out, but how do you get back in fitting so snug and not loose?

The last time I tapped it out from the wrong side. The pin that holds it together is small on one end and larger on the other. You have to tap it out from the small side so it passes through the handle. If you tap it out from the large side, the large end passed completely through causing the handle to be lose when you are putting it back together.
